Stacie Moore on how ending waste requires experts in a variety of fields

WorkingNation interviews leaders in sustainability at the GreenBiz 20 Conference in Arizona as part of our #WorkingNationOverheard campaign.

Stacie Moore is Rubicon Global’s Vice President of Human Resources, working alongside the company’s Chief Administrative & People Officer in leading Rubicon’s human resources groups.

In this video, Stacie describes how Rubicon became a technology company out of the waste and recycling industry. “We have sustainability experts, recycling experts, organics,” she says, “we have experts in a lot of fields and we also have this technology facet.”

In her role as Vice President of Human Resources, Moore oversees strategic decision making and planning, compliance management, policy and procedure development, process improvement, and employee relations.

With over 25 years of experience, Moore has worked in a number of roles across numerous industries, including time as Director of Human Resources at Precyse Solutions, and Human Resources Manager at Scottsdale Healthcare.

Fun Facts: Stacie helped Rubicon maintain its B Corp certification, be named a Great Place to Work® (2018, 2019), and be recognized as one of Glassdoor’s “Top Ten Companies with Seriously Impressive Benefits.”
