Time partnered with the national non-profit campaign WorkingNation to distribute the second episode of a new Barbara Kopple-directed documentary series called “FutureWork.”

The series investigates dramatic changes impacting the U.S. workforce and solutions to train workers for the new economy. The second episode focuses on Year Up, a national non-profit organization that partners with employers to provide young adults with a one-year training and internship program that results in potential employment.

The WorkingNation-produced episode is accompanied by a blog post from Year Up founder and CEO Gerald Chertavian explaining how the “Opportunity Divide” threatens America’s economic future.
