Pathways into the workforce are expanding well beyond four-year institutions, according to Scott Pulsipher, president, Western Governors University.

WorkingNation sat down with Pulsipher at SXSW EDU 2023 in Austin.

He says it’s important to “provide student-centric pathways so that when individuals enter into them, they have a high probability of success in completing them.”

“The core message is that when you put the students at the center of higher education, you focus everything on how you deliver value for them. That includes everything about how you expand equity and access – how you’re truly serving all the individuals that need access to high quality education so they can change their lives for the better.”
