Jared W. Lee is an Army veteran – currently seeking a job – who recently earned his Master of Science in management and leadership. Lee says he is looking for a place to start his second career and “a place to call home.”
WorkingNation sat down with Lee at 2022 Disability:IN Conference in Dallas where he attended as a participant of the gathering’s NextGen Talent Accelerator.
Lee sustained a serious injury during his military training and did not end up being deployed with his unit. After being medically discharged from the Army, Lee says he experienced depression.
But he learned to look at the positive side of his situation and decided to go back to school. Lee says the MS is “kind of the sister of an MBA.” About his graduate school experience, he says, “I realized I definitely like and have a passion for the leadership side of things. Working with people, programs. Making things better. I’m happy that I went that direction.”

Prior to her position at Corporate Anthropology Advisors, Ardi served as a Partner/Managing Director at the private equity firms CCMP Capital and JPMorgan Partners. She was a partner at Flatiron Partners, a venture capital firm working with early state companies where she pioneered the human capital role within an investment portfolio.
Ardi holds a BS from the State University of New York at Buffalo as well as a Masters degree and PhD from Boston College. She started her career as professor at the Graduate Center at Fordham University in New York.
