WorkingNation produces exclusive content from award-winning filmmakers and journalists that underscores the urgency of the unemployment crisis. In telling stories from individual workers, local leaders, and corporate offices, we showcase scalable solutions that can turn the American worker into an indispensable resource.
Why Now
WorkingNation blossomed from the realization that the nation’s workers are on a collision course with modern technology and a changing global landscape, and the outcome does not favor America’s workforce. In order to get ahead of disastrous levels of unemployment, WorkingNation aims to teach the 21st century workforce that lifelong learning and adaptable skill sets are the cornerstones of sustainable careers, as well as educate employers about underutilized talent that can be trained to tackle the labor shortages threatening multiple industries.
